My Values
The values that guide how I think about our city and the decisions I would make at City Hall.
Our public services are only as strong as the people who deliver them. I support fair compensation and good working conditions for frontline workers, including our Guelph-Wellington paramedics.
I support thoughtful housing choices, including missing-middle, affordable and deeply affordable housing.
I believe in LGBTQ2IA+ rights, racial justice, accessibility and a community where everyone is treated with dignity and respect.
I believe Guelph has a responsibility to reduce emissions, protect our natural environment and prepare our community for the impacts of a changing climate. We should make practical, evidence-based choices that build a healthier and more resilient city.
Whether we're talking about homelessness, public safety or housing, we should invest in approaches that actually work.
I support a moratorium on new AI data centres until there are clear rules to protect our water, electricity supply, environment and communities.
